And now, here's something you'll really like
Vanna, wanna V?
Ana, nab a banana.
Palindromes are fun.
Carbon dating
Roman numerals
are dead, why teach them in school?
Then there is Latin.
Thank you, John Calvin
At my daughter's school
can't bring cupcakes for birthdays
no more joy in life.

lol
"..can't bring cupcakes for birthdays.."
outrage!
The class will acknowledge that it's one of the student's birthdays but cupcakes or any kind of treat containing a speck of sugar are strictly VERBOTEN!!! Instead, they can bring a bag of carrots to pass around.
Probably more sugar in the carrots.
I think this is the main reason I homeschool...treats.
Tomorrow is Day 3 of learning Roman Numerals. Week 2 of Latin. I should be more progressive.
An elementary school teacher's wife used to bring us cupcakes and cookies! And we got candy when we won multiplication-bingo. And we sat around playing games on an Apple.
